Wanted to see what state it's in, because I heard they were doing renovation on the classroom. They're going really strong right now, with their highest membership of all time. More tools, a totally new woodshop, a lathe room, more lasers etc. If you like building physical things you should check it out. However I don't think it's a place where we could ever hold another hardcore hacknight. The classroom is being removed to make room for more laser stuff. The little computer room in the front is converted completely to 3D printing, with exhaust ductwork going all over. And in the basement they found asbestos in the floor and in those big tables. Though for those silly ppl they feel the need to remove the great fire retardant I would be glad 10yrs so when I did asbestos mitigation. That's a bummer though. Great news for TC makers space. I wonder if they let the printers run all night. On Sat, Oct 2, 2021, 11:54 AM Joe Nelson wrote: > Hey all, I visited TC Maker during an open house on Weds.
